Our experiences are designed to cover every learning area of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Assessments and observations will be carried out informally throughout your child’s time in the group to ensure that each child is reaching their one potential. All information gathered is kept confidential but parents can request to view and contribute to it at any time. All parents comments about their child’s interests will be welcomed and used to inform future planning.
The main classroom is laid out to provide a choice of activities for the children. It is divided into messy, role play, and quiet book areas. In appropriate weather, we use the outside play area and may also take the older children on short nature walks in the local vicinity. All learning experiences are provided through Outdoor Play.
